Aim of the Article
The article evaluates the link between informatics and safety proficiencies among the nursing students as well as nursing interns. Moreover, the article discusses factors that bring about success among the nursing students and intents when they have proficient safety skills and strong informatics knowledge.
The article uses a sample of 154 participates among them are 55 interns and 99 nursing students to verify the relationship between the nursing informatics and safety competencies. Furthermore, the article embraces scientific method in verifying that the knowledge of nursing informatics correlates with safety competencies of nursing students and interns. The use of scientific method in the study builds the credibility of the findings that the article presents and indicates the strength of the article from a scientific point of view.
In my opinion, I found this article to be of help to any nursing student wants to comprehend the usefulness of nursing informatics and how it correlates with the safety proficiencies. However, the article has some weaknesses. For example, sampling used as the method of research in the article provides chances of bias. Also, the respondents may not be a truly representative sample.

Innovations and inventions in various sectors have been instrumental in enhancing the quality of life. For the medical fraternity, the integration of the Electronic Healthcare Records has been an example of the technological changes sweeping across the board. Medical records are an essential element of the medical fraternity. The article evaluates the adoption goal that was to ensure that all medical data could be accessed, processed and stored in an electronic format.

The strength of this article includes the fact that it offers useful data that help in understanding the progress of adoption of the electronic health record. For example, the article states that seventy-five percent of hospitals have embraced the electronic health record up from fifty-nine percent in 2013. This shows a real progress even though there are still challenges that reduce the pace of adoption. I find this article useful since it discusses the way information flow in the context of digital health care has been made possible by electronic medical records.
However, the weakness of this article lies in the research method allows for the nonresponse bias. Moreover, the article does examine how electronic health record affects care in hospitals. Also, the proxies of embraced in the research were not rigorous. In my opinion, the findings in this article can be used as a guide for implementing policy goals that in the health sector.
