The increased negligence has marred the practicing nursing profession, which has put the life and the health of the patients on the line. The management team of the healthcare system plays an integral role in dispensing high-quality healthcare services that promotes the health of the patients. The administration should prevent and address medical malpractices resulting from the nursing negligence. The nursing malpractice involves the breaching of the ethical standards that lead to deteriorating the health of the patients. The nursing professionals are required to adhere to the rules and regulations that govern their practice to protect and uphold the health of the clients. Therefore, it is imperative to examine why the nursing malpractices are issues of public health concern.
Management of Nursing Malpractice
The cases of medical negligence among the nurses in the United States (US) have been on the increase recently and need to be addressed to ensure the safety of the patients. Nurses have engaged in medical malpractices that have jeopardized the health and the life of the patients. Many patients have suffered at the hands of the nurses due to their negligence in their line of duty.
