Therefore, women diagnosed with ADHD have differences in the symptoms they portray, comorbidity, and associated function compared to males with ADHD. This study is focused on the provision of a better understanding of females with ADHD to make improvements on the recognition and referral of the female gender: this will help in developing a better comprehensive assessment of the women with ADHD and providing appropriate treatment to them
