Introduction
Human beings experience several cases of separation in their lives, but family separation remains to be the most influential separation ever. Recently, cases of immigration and family separation have increased in some countries with most immigrants moving to the United States in search of job opportunities and comfortable lives. A good example is the case of Mexicans migration in the US that has aroused point of concern to United State president, Donald Triumph who has vowed to expand the US-Mexico Wall to curb illegal immigration to the United States from Mexico. Most of immigration and family issues involve parents who leave their children’s in the hands of either, extended family or the community making their lives vulnerability to stress and oppression in the society. Immigration and family issues, affects children more than parents thus, it can be stated as the main reason behind; poor education, increase of street families and also mental problems triggered by depression in the United States. Immigration and family separation issue has become a significant problem impacting negatively on many children’s lives partially because of their families' financial instabilities that arise parents desire to migrate and seek job opportunities to meet their basic needs. A meaningful solution to the immigration and family separation issue may be the intervention of the US government by amending laws that allow parents to immigrate with their children or burn them completely to ensure children live with their parents.
Cause of Immigration and Family Separation Issues
Poverty has been the primary reason behind most of immigration and family separation issues, and it is fueled by; unemployment, increase in divorce cases, and parent misbehavior (Grande, 2012). Firstly, most parents desire to provide a basic need for their children without failing them, thus in the case where family economy deteriorates; parents find it hard to watch their children suffer, forcing them to migrate to wherever they might get better pastures that allow them to take care of their kids. Recently, the unemployment rate has gone very high in most of the countries limiting parents from administering proper attention to their children in terms of education, accommodation, clothing, and food, also considered as inflation rate (Svensson, 2015, p. 7(1), 258-96).
