Ethical leadership can be defined as theory that uses ethical concepts as a guide in managing the subordinates (Luenendonk, 2016). It relates to always doing what is right and which can be emulated by others. It also refers to “the depiction of normatively acceptable behavior through personal and interpersonal relationships. The article “Lessons from Leadership Theory and the Contemporary Challenge of Leaders” by Wart, 2013, speaks of three pillars of ethical leadership as character, duty, and the greatest good. Through this article, it is quite clear that ethical leadership should be encouraged to promote better results in an organization or group.
