Abstract
Globalization is a term that describes how the world has become more connected and how different countries around the world are dependent upon one another as a result of trade. Technology is the main driver behind globalization. Due to technology, goods and services can now move more conveniently globally. Globalization can be described economically whereby goods and services move conveniently across borders or environmentally whereby different cultural elements such as styles and religions are transmitted globally. It can also be described politically, environmentally or military. Some of the advantages of globalization is increased international education, easy access of foreign culture, improved food security and increased creativity and innovation. It also has disadvantages such as culture erosion, economic imbalance and a number of environmental issues such as global warming and climate change.
