Nurses are among the health care professionals who form the largest group of professionals who manage patients in hospitals. Nurses have quite a big role in the healthcare setting, especially in preventive care, something which seems unnoticed by other professionals in the healthcare setup.
In preventive care, nursing employs three stages. Primary prevention is the first one. This involves the development of strategies that aim at risk prevention, and any behaviors which are unhealthy.
