This course has significantly enhanced my acquisition of various skills and concepts for global connections. I have acquired the following important skills and concepts. First, the Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) refer to a project management technique used to manage activities that are uncertain in terms of time, cost, and contingencies (Sharma, 2006). It is essentially a statistical tool that can be used to develop a roadmap that helps in identifying and reviewing major activities and their interrelationships. 
Secondly, the Critical Path Method CPM is used to manage annual maintenance of work. The technique is used in managing specific aspects of the project’s activities whose time is known (Sharma, 2006). In addition, the technique can be used to develop project schedules for managers to help in creating accurate timelines for a particular project. Mainly, this concept is vital for effective project management as it allows the management to design the work speed within a schedule.
