According to Kruse (2013), “Leadership is a process of social influence, which maximizes the efforts of others, towards the achievement of a goal.” There are several types of leadership styles broadly categorized as transformational, transactional and charismatic (Mkheimer, 2018). Regardless of the leadership style, there are positive and negative impacts of leadership to the success of any kind of business. The negative impacts comes with poor leadership and can devastate a company to a failure if no intervention is done to alleviate.
