Recruitment refers to the process of attracting, short listing and choosing potential and right candidates for a particular job within an organization. Human resource is concerned with the planning, acquisition, training as well as the development of potential and right candidates within an organization to equip them with necessary skills to enable the organization meets its objectives and goals. Training means learning a sequence of programmed behavior which is the role of the human resource management department in an organization to manage its employees and staff. Employee development is the process through which an employee through his or her employer undertakes various training programs and activities to either enhance existing skills and competencies. Development also involves acquiring new skills and knowledge through available training programs. Many organizations face a significant challenge in this sphere of recruitment and managing their new and existing employees hence making most of their human resource management ineffective in meeting the organization's goals and delivering effective employee management needs. Recruitment process faces a couple of challenges that include but not limited to attracting right candidates for the available vacancies where organizations are forced to go for candidates available even if they do not qualify because of the intense demand of the job. Engaging potential and qualified candidates, hiring fast, bribery: building a strong employee brand, gender bias, ensuring good candidate experience among others (Bika, 2018). These challenges pose a significant danger to the integrity of the recruitment process as well as its effectiveness.
