Mental is the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of a person and defines how a person thinks, acts, and feels. It is a determination of stress, how it is handled, and the choices available. There biological factors that determine mental state of a person, family history, and life experiences of an individual. Therefore, it has been part of our condition since human existence. Mental health creates stigma among victims with certain mental attributes resulting to a state of social rejection, discrimination, and avoidance. Usually, it is regarded as a discredited and shameful mark on a person which affects families and the entire community. Although there is sufficient public and scientific knowledge and understanding of mental health, stigma continues. As a result of stigma, people with mental health conditions are unable to interact and relate with others positively and function in a normal way. Since mental illness is not a result of one event or scenario, people with this conditions experience different experiences even if they have similar diagnosis.
