Introduction
Leadership is a vital element in the society as it helps to guide people on how to approach situations and provide a sense of direction towards success. Great leaders across history such as Julio Cesar, Martin Luther King, Jr. as well as Barack Obama have all at one point or across their entire leadership tenure showcased effectiveness in their leadership through understanding their followers. Great leaders both past and present, serving in the private or public sector often resort to use unique and understandable motivational techniques along with the power vested in them to influence their followers into achieving success. This essay analyses one of the best leaders I have worked under by the name Lauren Helen and her application of leadership theories, power and motivation techniques which helped turn the fortunes of a company at a decline.
