The Education Campaign's About Page: Why, How, and What (Essay Sample)

Education is a vital social issue. Therefore, the topic selected for my campaign is enhancing the quality of education for all children. The subject is important to me because it is essential to achieving equitable and quality access to education for all children, irrespective of their background, to secure their future and community success. The school dropout rate, teen pregnancy, and increased delinquency result from a dysfunctional education system. Improving equitable and quality access to education is critical for me since it creates a fair playing field for learners across all walks of life to better their lives and fulfill their dreams.
What I am hoping to achieve by advocating for equitable and quality access to education is sustainable development, societal harmony, and social justice. Education improves people's innovativeness, which is critical in offering solutions to human challenges, and fostering peaceful co-existence in society. Equitable and quality education also provides social justice since it offers everyone an opportunity to achieve their dreams without discrimination. The process of selecting the issue is based on personal experience of growing up facing the challenge of getting adequate finance to access quality education. Also, choosing the topic was guided by the increased gaps in access to education in American communities. The audience addressed in the issue includes federal and local government, parents, and private stakeholders in education. The subject addresses an expert power because I will use my skills and knowledge as a scholar and expert on education matters.
