Subject: Request to publish an article
I humbly request for your approval so that I can publish an article on behalf of your organization. The title of the article is "Why PayPal is a better payment option than Android pay" below is an elaboration that can assist in assessing my capacity to publish the article.
Section 1: Introduction
Statement of the problem
Why is PayPal a better option for payment than Android pay?
Background information
The advancement in technology has led to the rise of digital money transfer. PayPal and Android pay are the best examples. The two online payment services have different unique features that make each retain its clients. From observation, PayPal seems to be a more favourite mode of online payment compared to Android payment service. It is this trend by many people to prefer PayPal for online transactions that have compelled me to carry out research and write an article comparing the advantages of Paypal over Android pay (Dempsey, 2014). The advantages of PayPal over Android pay range from processing solutions for in-store and mobile merchants, fair pricing, smart hardware, merchant-friendly software, a variety of payment ways and great customer service. All these facts will be useful in writing my article.
Section 2: Audience Analysis
There is a wider group of audience that I expect to read this article. First of all, I expect various bank operation managers to read the article and get the tips on how they can work together with the online money transfer companies to win more clients for their banking institutions. Banking institutions are the intermediaries between online money transfer companies and the recipients of the money being transferred. That is because many users of online money transfer services like PayPal and Android have linked their online money transfer services to their bank accounts (Dempsey, 2014). Therefore by reading the article bank operation managers would be in a better position to decide on which online money transfer company they should partner with to win more clients in future.
Another group I expect to read the article is the Business community comprising of traders and exporters of commodities. International traders normally make orders in bulk and at the same time receive payments for goods delivered to clients in a lump sum. Normally the payments are usually made using the universally accepted foreign currencies like Euros and Dollars. Since businessmen are after maximizing profit, they would find the article very useful since the article would clearly outline why PayPal would be cheaper compared to Android pay (Dempsey, 2014). Furthermore, international trades are normally busy and would want an efficient online money transfer service that is efficient in terms of speed and merchant friendly software that is easier to operate. The article would, therefore, be of great help to them.
Finally, I expect the software developers to read the article. Software developers would be interested in knowing the kind of software that the most favourable online payment service is using so as to know the right companies to contract for work. For instance when PayPal is more favourable than Android it means PayPal would be in demand for more software developers to maintain the online payment system (Dempsey, 2014). Thus, the article will be used by software developers in the market to make right moves while seeking for software development contracts. Furthermore, Android would be in need of experienced software developers that can help them outdo PayPal who is their main competitors
Section 3: Research methods
Data collection and storage
I will use the current existing literature as a basis for conducting my research. I will use secondary sources to obtain information needed in conducting research since I have a very short time to do the research and hence primary sources would delay the research process. Furthermore, the type of data to be collected would depend on whether it is analyzable or not. I would prefer simplified data so as to come up with a comprehensive article that is easy to understand (Dempsey, 2014). Collected data will be stored in both print and audio form so as to maintain the originality of collected data and prevent any possibility of data distortion.
Data analysis and research compilation
The research will use qualitative analysis. The qualitative data analysis will include reducing data by coding significant statements accurately, identifying themes, and drawing conclusions carefully. Comparing coded systems within and across participants in question, noting patterns and related discrepancies, and drawing conceptual maps necessary to examine relationships between themes may also be completed as required (Dempsey, 2014). Once data is analyzed, results will be interpreted to determine the meaning and importance of findings. More keenness will be required in interpreting study results as all studies have strengths and weaknesses that affect the accuracy level of results and the strength of conclusions made
Section 4: Plan of work
I intend to finish my research within a period of six weeks. The period is long because I intend to follow the right procedure so that I can conduct a proper research.
