Women Discrimination in the USA at Workplace
The American workplace presents numerous discrimination challenges related to gender. Specifically, women experienced increased trends of discrimination. As expressed by Parker and Funk, at least 42% of America’s working females have encountered some form of discrimination at work. 25% of women indicated having received less compensation that male counterparts in the same job. Similarly, 15% expressed receiving low support from senior leaders at work. These percentages compare to men’s 5% and 7%, which are relatively low.
