The Country I Would Like to Visit (Essay Sample)
The essay question was, “Which country would you like to visit?”
I chose France as my favorite destination, and I argued for my choice. The basis of my argument was anchored on the fact that visiting France would give me a chance to experience the unique French culture, fascinating scenery and architecture, and special cuisines. France is blessed with monumental structures and museums, such as the Eiffel Tower and Louvre museum. I also learned from the research that France is one of the top producers of wine globally.
Generally, my choice enabled me to learn about many cultural, historical, social, and economic issues about France that I did not know before.
The Country I would Like to Visit
France is one of the best counties in the world to visit. France is a major tourist destination given that it has hot and dry summers and many tourist attraction sites. The north and west sides of France are categorized as flat and plain, whereas the south and east sides are a bit mountainous as in the Alps, where the highest mountain, Mont Blanc, is located. The famous French Riviera, also known as the Côte d'Azur, lies on the Mediterranean Coast. I prefer visiting France because of its unique culture, fascinating scenery and architecture, and special cuisines.
The first stopping point would be Paris, the city of love and the global center for fashion, culture, and art. The Eiffel Tower, for starters, is the most visited monument in the world. It is a symbol of French engineering and the showcase of Paris. Hundreds of people propose here, and some even get married at this tower. The world's largest museum, Louvre Museum, which has more than 35,000 exhibits, is in Paris.
Secondly, the wines and sophisticated cuisines are to die for. Wine is an integral part of French culture and cuisine; hence France is the leading wine producer globally. The Bordeaux region is one of the most famous regions with wine globally. This region is home to Merlot, Cabernet Sauv
