Assistive technology is a vital tool that helps children with disabilities to perform tasks, communicate effectively, and participate in various activities inside and outside the classroom. When using this learning approach, a student is expected to accomplish multiple instructional tasks. For instance, as shown in the video, William, a learner with a disability, is expected to record comprehension questions in a micro recorder. These questions should be answered in complete sentences, and the student should demonstrate his understanding of the topic. The student is also expected to use correct spelling and punctuation throughout the paper. This aspect is crucial as it allows the teacher to assess skill development capabilities.
