One of the advantages of traveling is the chance to do new things and see other cultures. Although vacations have long been touted for their health benefits, the same can be said for learning about new cultures. You can experience culture shock by immersing yourself in foreign cultures, but you also have the opportunity to learn new skills and learn more about yourself.
Spending a significant amount of time in a new area and society is also the only way to really understand it. When you adapt to your new surroundings, these types of openings provide you with a support network. CITATION JRPND \l 2057 (JRPASS)
