CRITICAL REVIEW OF CRITICAL PEDAGOGY
Introduction
The article problematizing critical pedagogy by Mary Breuing aims at reviewing different contradictory definitions of critical pedagogy given by various pedagogues. The author compares the ideas of different scholars about critical pedagogy in order to shade more light about the topic. Self-identification as a critical pedagogue, definitions of critical pedagogy and aims of critical pedagogy are some of the arguments that the author brings forth (Breuing 3).

Critical pedagogy is defined as a philosophical education supplemented by social development from critical theory. In addition, it also involves the study of culture.
