The article problematizing critical pedagogy by Mary Breuing aims at reviewing different contradictory definitions of critical pedagogy given by various pedagogues. Critical pedagogy is defined as a philosophical education supplemented by social development from critical theory. In addition, it also involves the study of culture. Therefore, according to this article, there are different definitions of critical pedagogy. This article aims at comparing the views of different scholars.
