Critical pedagogy and foreign language education have a large contribution towards success. There are many challenges that those studying foreign languages encounter despite the findings and innovations in foreign language education. This challenges are brought about by limited support hence a different approach should be taken. Different authors have suggested that implementing a new pedagogical approach could help in foreign language education. However, this approach will entail the teacher dealing with not only matters of classroom but also other external issues such as culture or social factors that addresses the challenges. In addition, foreign language education and critical pedagogy advocates for learners to enhance their understanding towards foreignness. Giroux opines that teachers should work towards creating a critical stance and changing the injustices in the society (Giroux 122).
