Introduction
In every literary piece, characters are described mainly by the course of their development. Flat characters are uncomplicated and do not change throughout the work. Contrarily, round characters are complex and always undergo changes to surprise the readers. In William Faulkner’s "A Rose for Emily Grierson and the town are rounded characters, whereas the rest, including Homer Barron, are flat characters.
