The Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH), is determined to ensure that such cases are handled ethically in a humane process so that lives are not lost unnecessarily and/ or the women do not undergo unnecessary process with no value to their well being.
Specific Purpose
In order to ensure safety of human populace, the kind of abortion practiced in Oklahoma is meant for ensuring the safety of the human race. Statistical data in abortion indicates high rates death that results from abortion. It is through this fact that the OSDH raised the need to enhance laws to control the menace. Safety for both the women and the unborn respectively is a concern to the OSDH. The speech will be based on abortion in Oklahoma
Problem
The main factor of concern in the issue of abortion in Oklahoma is the determination of best ways that would enhance human safety. It is adept to reiterate that victims of abortion cases are not safe either. Some of the abortion related issues include but not limited to; depression, anguish, regret, self condemnation, infertility, nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, as well as damage to internal organs leading to more risky encounters to the victims. Complications also lead to chronic illnesses (Jones 22).
Solution
The Oklahoma State to ascertain adoption of safety regulations to control abortion so that only the recommended cases would be handled by specialists in the respective health institutions with the doctors and physician’s consent. It is necessary and prompting to state that abortion is illegal in Oklahoma and should only be accomplished with authentication from medical practitioners (Jones1 28).
