Autism is a condition that affects how a person perceives and interacts with others and is linked to brain development. Communication and social contact are hampered by this disease. It also involves constrained and consistent behavioral patterns. This essay debunks the myth that vaccines cause autism.
The allegation that vaccines cause autism is not backed by reliable evidence, according to the scientific literature that is currently available. There is no connection between vaccines and autism, based on a large number of studies carried out by recognized scientific institutions and academics around the world. In 1998, Andrew Wakefield published one of the most influential papers, The Lancet, citing a connection between measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccines and autism (Iversen 261).
