Religion is the belief and act of worshipping an invisible supernatural being or a superhuman controlling power, for instance, God. Human beings have a relationship to entities they regard as righteous and holy, which is accorded a high magnitude of respect. Religion is also the way people address the inevitable concerns of life, such as death. Human beings have been known to subscribe to a different kind of faith since time immemorial. Many religions exist all over the world. Various people subscribe to other religions in all parts of the globe. There are many types of religion, but 12 are significant types that are common and have many people having faith in a specific religion. The 12 consequential types of religion are religion include Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Baha'i, Shinto, Jainism, and Zoroastrianism. Some religions are synonymous with specific people, such as the Hindus and Hinduism, while other religions, such as Christianity and Islam, are international. All cultures and tribes subscribe to Islam and Christianity. The relationship between humans and a specific type of religion is either humanistic or naturalistic. Every religion is better in its way, and no religion is better than the other as long as it respects human values (Feuerbach &Ludwig, 71). Most religions have different forms of worship, different beliefs in supernatural beings, but they all have similar values that address human righteousness. Christianity is the main religion on earth that many people worldwide subscribe to.
