Culture is determined based on people's behavior, lifestyle, education, social norms, laws, customs, capabilities and habits and among several other factors. Based on the definition of culture, it is apparent that there are many cultures around the world. People from different parts of the world live different kinds of lifestyle, have different habits and behaviors, and they have different levels of knowledge and capabilities (Zimmermann). Ethnicity is also be used to define culture.
People who share certain characteristics may have a tendency of doing certain things in a certain way. Such people may be perceived to belong to the same culture. However, it is also important to note that a person or a group of people may belong to more than one culture. For instance, a culture is referred to as the “Pop Culture”. The people who belong to the Pop Culture are those that like certain kinds of music, arts, clothing fashion, and they watch only certain kinds of films and listen to particular genre of music, radio, etc. (Zimmermann). The Pop Culture describes a culture that is popular with most groups in the society. In the United States, the Pop Culture is mainly associated with the young generation of Americans.
