Eugenics deals with controlling the nature and human society by improving the quality of the human race through selecting genes that were considered appropriated for reproduction (positive eugenics) and eliminating those that had undesirable traits (negative eugenics). Its primary target was to control the sexual reproduction and to advocate for desirable human traits and genetic in the society.
The eugenic claimed to be science that was concerned with controlling how human mate and their genetic composition, more so, it majored on the heredity qualities that were desirable for breeding or a race.
Eugenics was explicitly concerned with the social composition of the human race through the notion of survival for the fittest where only desired traits that were deemed important in the society were to be allowed to generate. Therefore, making it a social movement that claimed to be science, through basing their claims around scientific explanation on genetic traits of humans
Early political leaders viewed other races as inferiors and some societies and population to be degenerate thus, regarded practices and traits like prostitution dwarfism to be a social problem. Therefore, they championed the eugenics to prevent this bad character from mating and populating.
