Celebrity status is a state of being well known for excellent performance in a certain field, sports or entertainment. The modern 21st Century presents various avenues for deriving celebrity status. Some of the prominent fields include sports, music, movie industry, social media influencers and literature. The contemporary world of celebrity influence is fueled by the media. These celebrities have the power to set agendas on major, controversial and trivial issues bearing great effect on personality traits in society.
