How has technology changed and in turn changed learning? Today, learning institutions are fast adopting the use of technological equipment to aid and improve learning. Gone are the days when students had to be physically present in a class for learning to take place. Higher education is at the forefront in embracing the use of digital devices namely; tablets, laptops, and smartphones which are increasingly becoming the new norm. Advancement in technology has normalized online learning especially during the Covid19 pandemic. (Huda et al.).
We have witnessed a paradigm shift of human life emerging from face-to-face interaction classroom to a virtual one. This has changed learning in that learners can now access education despite their geographical location. This has made it easy for those working and learning part-time. Many have furthered their education at the comfort of their homes as online classes have made higher learning achievable and efficient for learners (Huda et al.). Learners can carry out extensive research using online academic research materials accessible over the internet. Later, they submit typed assignments or essays via email.
