Generally, such patients continue consuming many expensive drugs, implying that helping them out of the situation is justified. Euthanasia should be legal since the quality of life is more important than the length of life. Mostly, people opposed to euthanasia always argue from a religious viewpoint based on the principle that killing is immoral. Despite the argument making sense to many people, it is purely based on emotions and largely impractical. Patients requesting euthanasia are usually under unbearable pain that others cannot understand.2 People opposed to the practice argue that it is better to live, but death is always the most rational way of ending the intolerable pain.
