"Analyzing the Themes and Techniques in a Particular Text," this Grade 12 Creative Non-Fiction module aims to improve students' capacity to understand and value literary themes and techniques. Aiming to provide students with 21st-century abilities, this module fits the K–12 requirements and is included into the Senior High School curriculum. this module provides students chances for both supervised and autonomous learning, so enabling them to grow at their own speed.
There are numerous sections to the module to help learning. It starts in an introduction section outlining the desired competencies and goals. It comprises pre-assessment exercises to evaluate students' past knowledge and link fresh teachings with previously acquired content. The module presents fresh ideas by means of several interesting approaches including stories, poetry, and exercises, thereby guiding students to find and grasp important ideas and skills.
Students will investigate popular literary themes such bravery, love, injustice, and death and learn to separate themes from the primary concepts of books. Practical activities for students to practice spotting and evaluating themes and strategies in many literary works, including summaries and narratives, also abound in the curriculum. Students should develop themes, identify shared themes and literary devices at the conclusion of the module, and create stories reflecting certain themes.
The curriculum also stresses the requirement of integrity and honesty in finishing assignments and advises pupils to ask for assistance if necessary. It seeks to give students relevant and fun learning opportunities so that they not only understand the theoretical sides of literary analysis but also apply these ideas in daily life. By means of this all-encompassing strategy, the module seeks to inspire in students a strong awareness and respect of creative non-fiction.
