My love for Computer Science prevailed the moment I owned my first personal computer and learned the key tenets of technology. While I did not have a teacher or friend to guide me through this exploration path, at a tender age, my curiosity led me to unearth vital elements on the subject. Interestingly, I comprehended that these were to form the core of my future studies. Discovering fundamentals of computing, such as typesetting and using word processing applications expanded my knowledge accordingly. Courtesy of this rudimentary but basic technological prowess, I landed an opportunity as an Internet Café attendant in my locality, where I performed basic tasks of transcription. With this impetus to discover more in the computer world, the next phase entailed tackling advanced concepts, including HTML and programming languages, particularly C++. With C++, I managed to write simple algorithms to perform basic tasks. Upon working as laboratory assistant in a local library and as a technician in a computer maintenance shop, I have had an overwhelming zeal to pursue a course in Computer Science.
