Abstract
A communicable disease is a type of infection which usually spread and transmitted from person to another in different ways. This infectious disease can be spread through insect bites, any contact with body fluids or even blood and through airborne virus to mention a few (“CDC Works 24/7” 2019). It is important to report an incident of an outbreak or infection of any communicable disease since they can spread quickly. However, reporting to the respective agencies helps in planning and evaluation of the prevention strategies and control programs. In this paper, I will discuss the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) since it is a deadly communicable disease associated with the humans and the non-human primates. The virus can spread rapidly when not properly handled or discovered early and can easily cause severe deaths in a span of little period. This viral disease has been reported in mostly West Africa and Central Africa regions(Baize et al., 2014). There is no valid innovation to provide an approved kind of vaccine or form of treatment to treat the viral disease.
The causes and The Origin of the Ebola Disease
The Ebola disease outbreaks have proved to be one of the dangerous diseases ever experienced in the world. The first incidence of the occurrence was in 1976 when two outbreaks occurred consecutively in different parts of Central Africa. It was first reported in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
