Description of pathology
Hearing plays a significant role in engaging and building relationships among friends and family. It requires an individual to function effectively in different aspects of life. But deafness and hearing loss is not impossible, especially with unhealthy habits of a person in taking care of their ear health. World Health Organization (2021) projected the possibility of having 2.5 billion of the population in 2050 might experience any degree of deafness, and people who will need rehabilitation will be around 700. The focus of this study is associated with Conductive deafness, which occurs when sounds cannot pass the outer and middle ear making the soft sounds impossible to hear, and some loud sounds could be heard as muffled.
Deafness is the total loss of hearing, but it also implies very little hearing ability. Young adults are the one who is at most risk of this unavoidable risk of permanent hearing loss due to the listening practices that has been a habit for a long time. Consequently, having this disability can experience low to middle income that dramatically affects an individual's life.
Normal anatomy of the major body system affected
A human ear consists of three parts that have significance in receiving sounds for clear and balanced hearing. This includes the external or outer ear, middle ear, and inner ear. Any problem or blockage encountered in the outer and middle ear will result in deafness where sounds cannot pass correctly, resulting in muffled hearing or complete deafness.
The ideal hearing process should pass from the external ear going to the middle and receive the sound in the inner part of the ear without any obstruction that may cause muffled or no hearing.
