Cancer forming in the breast cells are known as breast cancer. Breast cancer is most common cancer after skin cancer. More commonly, breast cancer occurs in women but at some points it also occurs in men. More recently, the support substantially provided for breast cancer research funding and awareness has helped creat more advances in diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer (Dinapoli et al. 2021 pg. 4). Factors such as new personalized approach to treatment, better understanding of the disease and earlier detection has made a steady decline in deaths associated with breast cancer while the survival rate has increased.
Diagnosis
Diagnosis of breast cancer is done through cancer screening. For one to receive better and successful treatments, the sooner he or she get diagnosed with breast cancer the better.
