Pyrolysis: Procedure, Equipment, and Conditions (Research Paper Sample)

Instructions:

pyrolysis is an activity of chemically degrading organic materials at high temperwtures without oxygen. it is thermochemical degrading of organic materials to incondensable gases, solid residue, charcoal, condensable liquids and biochar in inert atmospheres. It is a process that consists of successful and simultaneous reactions when the carbon-rich organic matter is heated in atmospheres that are non-reactive. Pyrolysis technology allows changing municipal solid wastes, non-recyclable plastics, agricultural residue, and other scrap tires into clean energy and products that can effectively produce chemicals, heat, and electricity.

Introduction
Pyrolysis is an activity of chemically degrading organic materials at high temperatures without oxygen. It is the thermochemical degrading of organic materials to incondensable gases, solid residue, charcoal, condensable liquids, and biochar in inert atmospheres (i.e., without oxygen). It is a process that consists of successful and simultaneous reactions when the carbon-rich organic matter is heated in atmospheres that are non-reactive. (Gopu et al.,2018, p.48) Pyrolysis technology allows changing municipal solid wastes, non-recyclable plastics, agricultural residue, and other scrap tires into clean energy and products that can effectively produce chemicals, heat, and electricity.
Procedure
Pyrolysis of municipal solid waste starts with the mechanical preparation and separation of metals, glass, and inert materials before processing the waste remaining in a pyrolysis reactor. The pyrolysis reactors that are commonly used are rotary kilns, fluidized bed furnaces, and rotary hearth furnaces. (Hoslett et al.,2019, p.777) Production of activated carbon is
