Qatar Airways is the national airline of the state of Qatar, and one of the most prosperous in the aviation industry (Qatar Airways, 2018). From its modest origins in 1994, when it was just a small carrier, Qatar Airways has expanded to become one of the fastest-growing airlines in the world. In 1997, there was a re-launch of the airline putting it under the administration of his Excellency the Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani (Qatar Airways, 2018). The Sheikh implemented a blueprint for transforming the airline into a global corporation with distinguished standards of service and excellence (Qatar Airways, 2018).
