Effects of Neurogenic Disability on the Identities of People with a Disorder
Human development describes the process from conception to death and that there can be neurological disorders that intervene with the development process. The brain damages as a person ages which affects how they view spirituality as it relates to neurobiology. Therefore, human development has inhibitors such as neurological disorders, but there can be growth factors such as spirituality which may help the aging brain. The neurological disorders that can affect the developmental process are Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and cerebral palsy (Andreou and Trott 343-351). These disorders can severely impair how an individual function as they go through life due to the various symptoms associated with them. Cerebral palsy involves a situation in which motor disability in affects an individual’s capacity to maintain posture and balance, and move. It is results from damage of developing brain or abnormal brain growth which influences an individual’s ability to control their muscles.
