Introduction
That is not fair, is a common phrase. Unfortunately in most instances, the phrase is a true depiction of the current state in our communities, and our society at large. The scales are not balanced and they have not been so for a very long time. The sad thing is that the so called ‘civilization and development’ is actually making the situation worse.
The most affected group is the youths. The high cost of higher education has made a number of them drop out. Those who have survived and graduated from different universities, colleges and technical and vocational training institutes have come to the realization that there are no job opportunities for them. Dreams shattered and with no hope for the future, most of them have found their way into crime and other vices.
There is still hope though. There are simple but effective things we can do to improve the situation. And that is the main purpose of this movement. We want to give hope to as much as we can. We want to stand with them and support each other into becoming better people, people of character and honor, and hope that when the time comes, they are also going to stand with a few others.
