Abstract
Gender inequality is a serious challenge in the work places. This challenge affect women more than men. It easier to find a management position being offered to man than you will find a woman.it normally known as the ‘’the glass ceiling’’ (Evans 2). However, there some instances where men are also discriminated relating to roles stereotypically associated with women. In order to address this complicated matter, the research will focus on various factors that largely affect or promote to this disparity for example political ideology and stereotypes, how they relates to gender inequality in work place (Gonzalez, et al. 7). This research will use research methods that have been used previously and they will be modified to help explore inequality. It will include use of mock interview records that motivate hiring process as well as fictitious sample of hiring process. To explore the difference in attitude, there will be modification of both sex and occupation perspectives (Evans 5). The research will specifically and randomly assign each contributor to read through the probable applicant transcript. The employability of the applicant will be assed as well as their political ideology. The likely hood of conservatives compared to liberals to hire employees based on their gender uncommon positions than gender conventional positions.

Introduction
There has been a considerable progress in America as far as human rights are concerned. However, this progress has been threatened by the injustices that found in work places relating to employment, payment as well as other benefits accrued from a working citizen. It is as a result of discriminating factor which is based on race, gender and many other factors (Gonzalez, et al. 9). The main purpose fuelling discrimination or inequalities is the need maintain the status quo for some organisation, which intern leads to a specific group of individuals being left behind (10). For instance, in the field of mathematics, science, technology and engineering, there is only 22% of women within the workforce. Those women qualifies for these and get employed, there is great disparity in their salaries. These issues are not only found in the field of science. In a study, when all ranks were combined, it found that in universities and colleges, the female members of faculty earned a salaries equating to 80% of the men salaries on average. Still in the United States, there was 77.5% of the men salary from median earning women (Evans 3). There is a great need to reduce inequalities in the workplace. It is the employer and the employee duty to ensure as well as contribute towards eliminating these injustices when it comes to payments or because of other factors. This proposal focuses on researching the relationship between political ideology and gender inequalities in the work place (Gonzalez, et al. 9).
Gender bias and stereotypes
Sufficient evidence suggests that there are possibilities of existence of prejudice based on sex, and largely affect the decisions which involves hiring and employment (Meier 14). The prejudice results from a mixed perception gender roles in a work place or the stereotype expectations an employer may have on gender roles. It is a big problem. Many organisations are not held accountable for such decisions in their work place thus losing their criteria for hiring process (14). For an employer to rely majorly on the impression created by the interviewee, it shows a good evidence of unstructured decisions in hiring process. In case the interviewee presents ambiguous credentials based on background history, the unfilled information is completed stereotypically (Vallejo 7). It leaves a large gap for any influential factors bearing in mind that stereotypes plays a major role on how we perceive others. It proves that an employee with accept or reject the applicant based on whether he or she conforms to the stereotypes which the employer believes. That how serious they influence decisions and mostly not many are aware of it (Meier 14).
According to (Vallejo 6) other inequalities are brought about by the discrimination based on sex. This happens for booth men and women. This comes with penalties when one succeeds in the roles not associated with gender stereotypes. Research discovered that, there is no respect to men who succeeds in jobs associated with women (6). They are perceived as less effective and vice versa. It is clear that working environment generally require many individual characteristics. For example, women are perceived to be nice and soft and this may affect her directly in a management role based on the stereotypes perceived. On the other hand, masculinity is positively accepted on the same line of management role (7).
Political based ideologies
They are represented in all directions. They provide platforms for different perception in relation to social matters (Worth 9). Under this subject there are liberal minded people and the conservative. The liberal minded people focus eliminating inequality as well as advocating social change while the conservatives believes in an holds on to the traditions as well as allow inequality (9). Most factors relating to stereotypic perception are mostly based on political ideologies. Conservatives believes in the current social way of life while the liberals continues to push for equality in all aspects thus altering the status quo. These traditional policies and perceptions create a gap which may otherwise create opportunities for everyone without gender or race (9).
