Attention-getting Opening
Grab your audience’s attention with an interesting statistic, fact, compelling question, or story.

If so, have you ever had a negative encounter with a company? Customer service that consistently fails to meet my expectations is something I am well-acquainted with. When I have had a negative experience with a company, I tend not to return. I utilize surveys to express my dissatisfaction or express my opinions to management. Anger, worry, and dissatisfaction may result from poor customer service. For patients at an outpatient ambulatory hospital, we want them to have the most satisfactory possible experience. AIDET®, a communication tool, is an excellent place to begin.

Main Point #1

Add as many subpoints as needed. We recommend three.

According to the Studer Group (2109), “AIDET®” helps healthcare workers interact with patients around each other in a manner that reduces patient fear, enhances patient engagement, and promotes clinical results." " The Studer Group, L.L.C. owns the trademarks and brand AIDET®, which stands for Recognize, Present, Duration, Explanation, and Thank you.
"These modifications have lessened anxiety," said Tracy Khalid, supervisor of registration at Cooper Medical Systems in Camden, New Jersey, when AIDET was adopted there. "Patients get the impression that they are in capable hands." (Healthcare Access Management, 2016) Jason Mouser, administrator of better accessibility at Baptist Healthcare in Richmond, Kentucky, said in 2012, "This has been significant in helping lessen patient anxiety." For further information on hospital access management, see (Medical Comprehensive Guide, 2013).

Main Point #2
One subpoint MUST have supporting evidence (shown via an in-text citation).
Please refer to the example for how to do in-text citations.
Add as many subpoints as needed. We recommend three.
Mark your plan to show your visual aid (it must be demonstrated within either main point 1 or 2).

Jason Scott (2012) wrote that We must all be aware of the possible financial consequences of high patient satisfaction levels and that providing excellent treatment is our top responsibility." CMS has started paying hospitals based on the results of HCSHPS (Hospital Consumer Analysis of Health Care Facilities) from 2014. Measures the patient's assessment of the care they get in health systems. A department of Witham Health Services in Lebanon, IN, utilized AIDET® as a good example. When they implemented the program in 2010, their service quality levels increased by 2.4%.
Sexton, J. (2019). Repeat Your Reassurance. Retrieved from
In addition to improving patient happiness, the usage of AIDET® also enhances the quality of treatment. Research at Oklahoma University boosted their score by 53 percent, owing to improving the impression of the convenience of receiving test findings and access to care (Zamora, R, Patel, M, Doherty, B, Alperstein, A, Devito, 2015).
