Introduction
Multinational companies and businesses have their operations and investments spread across several nations. The nature of such investments warrants analysis because of the variation in the business environments in each country. Because every business intends to make a profit, analysis of the risks involved is critical for making informed decisions. And this is particularly important for cross-border investments, where the political, economic and geographical environments may be beyond the investors' ability to control.
