In assessing the factors affecting a community, there is a need to collect the data for analysis. Collection of data can be through visits to the hospitals to see health practices already in practice and talking to the physicians themselves. Assessment of sexual behaviors of a community can be through the analysis of the aging population of the community. It helps in knowing the fertility levels among other issues. For the assessment of the education level, interviewing the residents is helpful, and visiting schools is important.
There are plenty of assets useful in the assessment. The elderly people who are the majority in this area are assets. It is because of their contribution in the provision of the information needed in the assessment. In addition, it is the needs of the people under assessment. Therefore, there is a need to involve them in the assessment. Another asset is the physical structure may it be a hospital that the community seeks to get treatment for their various ailments. A school in this community is an asset as there is an assessment of the education level of the community.
