The change theory is among the instrumental theories used by quantum leaders to drive change in contemporary organizations. Kurt Lewin developed the three-step change model in which he elaborated on organizational change using the analogy of an ice block taking a new shape via three fundamental steps: unfreezing, changing, and refreezing (Hussain et al., 2018). The initial step (unfreezing) seeks to minimize change resistance through awareness, communicating the positive side of the anticipated change to move people from their comfort zone and propend toward the desired direction.
