I agree that the United States Preventative Task Force (USPTF) offers screening guidelines for prostate cancer. yes, the USPTF guidelines state advocate for a personal decision in men aged between 55-69 years to undergo a PSA test (Bibbins-Domingo, Grossman & Curry, 2017). Moreover, the guidelines advocate for an opportunity to get education about the benefits and harms to provoke an informed decision. It is also true that the USPTF guidelines advice against PSA tests in men older than 70 years.
