Leadership is a form of art enhancing a group of people to acquire a common target. In business, leadership entails managing and giving directions to the employees strategically to achieve a company’s performance. Oprah Winfrey is ranked among the top the world’s top fifty greatest leaders ("http://fortune.com", 2019). She is among the few who endured difficulties in their lives and overcame the tough times to become one of the greatest leaders in the world. In this paper, I chose to examine and discuss Oprah Gail Winfrey as a great leader. Oprah has undoubtedly transformed and changed the lives of people using her positive influential skill as a leader.
Leadership is experienced in all fields of works through any style. A leader is not only the boss of the team, but also the person with the desire of achieving the firm’s objectives and goals. Oprah Winfrey is among the most successful black American leaders, for changing and positively transforming the lives of the many people. I have chosen to examine her for her success and personality as a leader where she portrayed awareness regarding many social sensitive issues using her Oprah Winfrey Show (Garson, 2011). Her life is intriguing and being an African American, yet she endured many problems and achieved her goals. She is popular for transforming the lives of many people using her social insights, compels me to understand her leadership roles, qualities and behaviors in the life (Garson, 2011).
