Significance of red wine in stomach ulcers
A peptic ulcer is a sore that forms in the walls of the stomach. They tend to take place in the less curvature in the stomach. Most of the individual who are 40-60 years are the most affected. It's less seen in young women, but it has mostly manifested children and infants. After menopause, the number of peptic ulcer in women is almost the same as that in men. Stomach ulcer can occur even without excessive acid secretion. Anxiety and stress have been thought to cause stomach ulcers. Toxins released by these foods tend to injure the cells on the lining of the stomach leading to the development of a small sore which later becomes vulnerable to damage to digestive juices which leads to the development of an ulcer.

These traumas are most common in ventilator-dependent patients after trauma or surgery. As the stressful condition continues the ulcer spreads this can be reduced by taking moderate red wine.
