Introduction
A corona virus disease (Covid-19) originates from a corona virus that emerged in China towards the end of the year 2019. Late in 2019, the world health organization announced that this virus had a global pandemic potential and was relatively highly infectious. Since then, it has spread far and wide across the globe, with its cure still not found. As of October, 2020, the virus had infected over 38 million individuals, and claimed over 1.1 million lives. The world health Organization states that this virus has infected both human beings and other invertebrates such as rats. The hallmark symptoms of this flu are similar to that of Sars-Cov. They include dry cough, fever, chest pains, myalgia, and shortness of breath. Approximately, 75 percent of Covid 19 cases manifested first as pneumonia (WHO,2020). The disease is spread through passing of droplets from one individual to another through the nose and mouth. Following the nature of spread and the high infection rates recorded in March, the WHO devised the guideline of mandatory wearing on mask to cut on person-to-person infection. Today, heath sectors have made strides to manage the infections using antibiotics and ventilation facilities but the virus has spread extensively. The Corona virus disease pandemic has adversely affected socio-economic sectors globally, therefore more effort is needed in placing measures of surveillance and safety in countries.
